Chase was named Michigan Lender of the Year
April 8, 2008
The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Michigan District
Office presented its fiscal 2007 lender awards at the Tenth Annual
Michigan SBA Lenders’ Conference held in Lansing on March
20. Chase was named Michigan Lender of the Year, SBA’s award
for the best overall performance. Chase approved 616 SBA loans
worth more than $36 million in fiscal 2007.
“Although it was difficult to select only one lender from this
year’s group, Chase turned in an exceptionally strong performance
in all areas,” said Richard Temkin, Michigan District Director of
SBA. “In addition to being our SBAExpress Lender of the Year, it
was a strong contender for several other awards. In the 13 years
that we have presented this award, Chase is only the fourth lender
to win it more than once.” Other award winners included:
SBAExpress Lender of the Year – Chase
Award for the lender which had the most SBAExpress
loans. Chase approved 611 SBAExpress loans. This is the
first year that Chase has won this award.
